I'm not here to fit you into a box. I believe our quirks and complexities are the best part of being human - and my job is to help you celebrate them.

My story so far

For as long as I can remember, I've been fascinated by humans, how we work, why we feel the way we do, and what drives our choices. That curiosity led me to earn a Master's degree and three accredited professional diplomas in human behaviour. But my expertise didn't solely come from my professional qualifications, it also came from life.

Before becoming a qualified Psychotherapist, I spent years climbing the corporate ladder in HR and Professional Services. On paper, I was functional, driven, and doing what I thought I should do.

Underneath the mask, I was drowning.

After losing my best friend in a sudden, tragic accident, grief overtook my life, and debilitating anxiety took the wheel. Day-to-day, I hid behind professionalism. I survived sleepless nights on pure caffeine, had breakdowns in the office loos, and lived in constant fear of being "found out."

I abandoned my own physical and emotional needs just to survive the 9-to-5 grind in an environment that was slowly draining me.

Reaching out to a therapist was the turning point. For the first time, I realised I didn't have to live in survival mode. I wanted slow mornings and genuine calm. I wanted to enjoy my city, connect with loved ones, and build a career rooted in real growth, without the internal noise of anxiety and self-doubt.

So, I decided enough was enough. I left the corporate ladder behind to build a private practice dedicated to helping women step out of the exact darkness I once lived in.

And that is exactly how Therapy With Bronte came about.
