Therapy with Bronte

Your anxiety isn't a personality flaw.

Anxiety and trauma don't just live in the past, they live in your nervous system. I help guide high-achieving women and individuals struggling with anxiety and trauma who are ready to stop just 'coping' and start genuinely thriving.

What is Actually Happening?

The Anxious Brain

Anxiety is normal! Learning about the brain can help you understand what you are feeling and WHY.

Illustration of the anxious brain, highlighting the amygdala, prefrontal cortex, and cerebellum

The prefrontal cortex

01

The amygdala is on high alert

Your brain's alarm system becomes oversensitive, treating everyday stressors as severe threats.

02

The prefrontal cortex shuts down

Our rational brain goes offline under high anxiety.

03

Trauma lives in the body

Traumatic experiences are stored as sensory memories, trapping your nervous system in fight, flight, or freeze.

04

Overdrive creates a barrier

When your body fights for survival, it's hard to rest, set boundaries, or meet emotional needs.

Does this feel familiar?

Your symptoms aren't a personal failure or a lack of discipline. They are an overprotective survival mechanism doing exactly what it was wired to do - keep you safe.

How we heal together

1:1 Psychotherapy for Anxiety & Trauma

What's our session's aims?

⚠️

Identify & Remove Barriers: We uncover what is standing between you and meeting your emotional needs.

💪🏽

Activate Your Natural Resources: You already possess innate strengths and resources, I help you activate them in new, powerful ways.

📚

Process Trauma Swiftly: Using highly effective, evidence-based therapeutic techniques, we process past trauma without lengthy, agonising re-living of the events.

🧠

Practical Psycho-Education: Understand how your brain and body work so you gain complete control over your nervous system.

🚗

Lasting Independence: Therapy isn't meant to be a permanent fixture, it's a vehicle to get you to where you want to be. We work together with a clear goal in mind: equipping you with the internal toolkit, self-trust, and resilience you need so you can confidently step out of therapy and step back into your life, fully in control and completely free from old patterns.

My Approach

My Values

Relatable

Therapy works best when you are met with a human, not a robot. You deserve a warm, down-to-earth space where you don't have to "mask" or pretend you have it all together. While our sessions are entirely focused on your journey, my clinical approach is grounded in real-world empathy, making therapy feel approachable rather than intimidating.

Transparent

Trust is built on openness, not uncertainty. You are entitled to complete clarity around your investment, how sessions work, and the reality of the therapeutic process. Our work is grounded in upfront communication, clear expectations, and total transparency so you can feel completely confident moving forward.

Effective

Therapy should create real, measurable results, not just endless conversation. I frequently work with clients who have tried therapy before without success, helping them get to the true root of their challenges rather than just putting a plaster on the symptoms. Grounded in a consistent track record of lasting change, often achieved in as few as three sessions, I equip you with practical tools to move beyond discussing problems and actively transform them.

Perfect for you if:

You're an ambitious woman whose anxiety or past experiences are keeping you trapped in high-functioning fight or flight.

You want to break cycle patterns and are ready to active take steps toward reshaping your daily experience and emotional well-being.

You value a structured, solution-focused space where we work collaboratively on actionable growth, not just open-ended venting.

Not a good fit for you if:

You want long-term, unstructured talk therapy without focusing on actionable strategies or goal setting.

You're seeking a passive experience and aren't ready to engage in self-reflection between sessions.

You are in acute crisis or require intensive, specialised inpatient/emergency mental health care.
